By the way, I didn't know we could choose a hymn as our favourite song - I might have changed my answer if I had known that! So glad to know more about you, my friend :))Jo-Anne Teal (jtvancouver)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10560042112608893203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693014699643165460.post-58687678023743620892012-05-22T10:10:20.884-04:002012-05-22T10:10:20.884-04:00Thanks, Cameron! I'm in the process of firing up my pottery production again, so as soon as I have some things to show for my efforts I'll post them here or on Etsy and let ya know. :)

And yes, hymns are my soul food. Even casual words can sock a massive punch, and in ways we never realize.

The tongue fiasco is a long story; but it ended well and without any need for stitches. Plus side? I got to eat nothing but jello and ice cream for several days while it healed. :)Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05145626477713347271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693014699643165460.post-77619480988898041182012-05-21T21:15:54.869-04:002012-05-21T21:15:54.869-04:00I used to sell my pottery on Etsy, but I'm sla...I used to sell my pottery on Etsy, but I'm slap out of stock so I have nothing to post right now. I truly appreciate it!

Oh you had so many interesting tidbits in your Q & A and random facts but when I got to the part about your tongue...yikes! :-o I hope they were able to reattach it without too much difficulty.

The other thing that got me thinking is what your teacher told you. I had a similar experience with an art teacher in grade school. I was so proud of this beautiful, colorful outdoor scene I had painted. She gave it a quick glance and said, "Trees and flowers and buildings don't look like this, and the sun doesn't have a face. I suggest you go outside and study nature." Teachers need to realize that their words carry great power and influence--and it's far too easy to crush the creative spirit of a child.

Really enjoyed your post, Angela! Thanks again. :D

--SusanSusan Bodendo/Super Earthlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10552499547660991944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693014699643165460.post-37862203244733962052012-05-21T12:54:39.275-04:002012-05-21T12:54:39.275-04:00I'd love to see some of your art work, especia...I'd love to see some of your art work, especially the pottery...funny how many of us writers are arty types too!
My Dad always spoke about the 'Ancient Mariner' he never read it to me, but it piqued my interest...takes you into another world.
And I love your 'perfection' we would be lost without it!Lisa Shambrookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12767127776898278402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693014699643165460.post-4118178213239579382012-05-21T11:33:45.787-04:002012-05-21T11:33:45.787-04:00*applauds acceptance speech*
